17. He said that Rubio is not on the list.
Mon May 16, 2016, 01:55 PM
May 2016

He had no comment re the rest of that stellar group of candidates. Cenk Uygur raised a good point about Trump not picking a qualified veep. If someone like Kasich were the VP, the Republicans could join with Democrats to impeach Trump when he makes the inevitable stupid move so they could get the establishment president they truly want. Now if Palin were the VP, even the Republicans might hesitate. Carson himself would be a better choice for Trump. Unlike the other candidates, no one really hates Carson- he seems like a personable guy when awake. He is even less qualified than Trump for the presidency and would shore up the evangelical vote. Carson might even help solve our poverty and hunger problems by supervising a program to build pyramids to store grain. We could get Egypt to pay for it.

Personally, I'm going to make a reservation for a substance abuse treatment program starting November 9th and am going to spend the next 6 months trying to anaesthetize my brain so I can't see, hear, or feel. The only way I can get through what is looking like a Trump/Clinton campaign....

With Trump's extensive track record in public service, he will HAVE to choose someone who's in the government as his running mate.

(certainly not mine) would be to make Dick Cheney VP (donning flame suit now). He knows the ins and outs of Washington, the international side, and would run the country while Trump was the frontman, which seems to be the positions each are most comfortable.

But let's not get too hooked on that idea.

Wed May 18, 2016, 10:10 PM
May 2016

Then he needs to study history, probably the hey day of the Roman Empire.

If poor Donald selects someone like Palin - it shows a true lack of judgement, especially if the American people put such a combination in the White House. Dumb and Dumber.

But if poor Donald selects an establishment GOP for the role of VP - then the party (if they control the house) will impeach him inside of 6 months, and then everything is okay for the party.

He truly is stuck between a rock and hard place.

The only thing he can really do is select someone from the GOP establishment that the party hates more than him (I am thinking Cruz) and then he might be able to retain his position in the White House if he wins. Of course then, we have a man (that I believe suffers from mental illness) combined with a man that believes in the end times. Maybe Donald isn't screwed, might be us.

Poor baby... He truly should study history.

My thoughts...

The irony is that no matter what he does at this point, including shooting a five-year-old child in broad daylight on 5th Avenue in NYC, will work. People are disgusted, hurting, and angry. They want change at any cost. And sometimes the Devil you know is more repugnant than the Devil who is ambiguous.
