Democrats should not focus all their attention toward Donald Trump.
These people have no principles. For thirty-five years, they preached the virtues of Reagan conservatism. Now, at the first shiny object, they throw their so-called "conservatism" overboard, because they think the new shiny object will lead them to the Promised Land.
They know. They understand. But they are now willing to forsake everything they have believed in, with the false belief that if they win the White House, it will be a great victory for America. But, they know. There is a carnival barker leading the parade - all loud and proud - bloviating and lying and insulting anyone and everyone that might stand in his way. They know.
Yet, some of them say they are going to vote for this guy, regardless if it is a betrayal of their blessed conservatism and the loss of whatever principles they might have once possessed.
Democrats have a duty to be honest with the citizens of this country, if they are going to be a credible Party. They cannot place all their attention on Donald Trump and let the guilty parties escape scrutiny. Those that betray their principles, especially those running for the Congress or Senate, should be under extremely close scrutiny. The citizens that they represent should know, before their election, that their Representative supports the arrogant tyrant, or they do not. It is important to know. They know.
