Cultural icon Wavy Gravy on Trump: "I don't know anybody that would support that f*cker."

Wavy Gravy: 'I'm Supporting Anything But Trump'
The Grateful Dead clown and Woodstock emcee on acid tests, ice cream and the horror of a Donald Trump presidency
By David Browne May 10, 2016

Are you reviving Nobody this year?

No. This time, I'm supporting anything but Trump. And people should make their vote count. I suspect that if we do, and if people realize the horror of that possibility, that people that never voted before will rise in mass numbers and blow him out of the water.

I hope you're right.

Trust me on this. The alternative is so horrific. I don't know anybody that I ever talked to that would support that fucker. He's got the right-wing crazies and the disillusioned ones. But we're so much more. I think you'd be stunned to discover how many we are. They always say to me, "Wavy Gravy, you were at Woodstock. How many people do you think are here at this event?" Well, count their feet and divide by two and hope there aren't any pirates.

I was born in 68, and started going to concerts in the late 80s. I never had the opportunity to engage in a nerf sword fight

What would Wavy do? the question we should be asking each and every day.

Did you know that because of Wavy MILLIONS of people who were going to be blind can see? via his Seva foundation. (seva is sanskrit for "Service&quot . Member of the Grateful Dead are also on the board there. Wavy does stuff. An amazing man.

Did you know that his longtime wife, Jananranah, was once Bob Dylan's paramour? And that Bob wrote "the Times they Are A Changin'" (Finally, I hope) on Wavy's typewriter in the Village? Did you know that he got hit with a giant piece of sod during green Days performance at Woodstock whatever the fuck and he has not stopped talking about it since? (Inside wavy joke).

I saw Wavy Gravy in Eugene back in the 90's and that was his stance then.

...we've never seen such a potentially destructive candidate before. At least that's what I get from his interview.
