if you've ever seen Bobby Knight on one of his speaking tours you probably vowed that you would never ever waste you money for a ticket to hear him again and his "all about me,and wasn't I the greatest and everyone else is a piece of shit" theme
He might have been a decent Basketball Coach in the 70's and early 80's but he kept slipping to evolve into this.
Here is the video Bobbly Knight demonstrates through this absolutely non intelligent answers what so ever and his reasoning why he supports Donald Trump

(6,977 posts)As I recall, he slapped his OWN son.
He's slapped, spanked a player with a towel and screamed directly into players ears. Has cursed them, thrown chairs, is STILL I believe banned from ever going to Puerto Rico. He's embarrassing as all get out.
He makes as much sense as Trump, and that's NO sense at all. They both deserve each other

(8,012 posts)He gave a lot to charities, he made his players understand that academics came before sports, and he has the respect of most of his former players... but his politics were always a little wacky.
I worked in Bloomington, IN during part of the time he was there and also at the end. This doesn't surprise me a little bit.
