I saw this ad on BOR tonight. Was only paying half attention and said this was a GREAT new Trump ad! Mrs. Catnipman pointed out, no, this was a HILLAY ad. What???? I said this ad would help get Trump votes! And then BOR came on and said he thought it might help get votes for Trump too.

2. To be fair, it is aimed at sane and rational Americans. That doesn't describe many (any?) freeps.

The second ad was better. Neither is good at depressing the turnout of trumps core supporters. They and a surprising amount of republicans view the politicians in the first ad as jealous insiders. The second ad featuring trumps misogyny, racism, xenophobia, etc. After 40 years of championing those as virtues, the republicans won't see those as negatives. I wish the republicans that are as disgusted by those "values" would fix their own party instead of bringing the milder versions of them to ours.
