Ted Cruz Wins 10 of 13 Delegates at Virginia GOP Convention

Ted Cruz won 10 of the 13 delegates up for grabs at the Virginia Republican Convention today, with Donald Trump taking the other three after state delegates voted in favor of the slate recommended by the nominations committee.

The result had many Trump supporters upset, because Trump won the Virginia primary.

"I voted for Cruz in the primary but I am against this slate because this is not what our state voted for," said one delegate who took the mic to voice her concerns.

Cruz surrogate Ken Cuccinnelli argued that the outcome today was not out of line, because Trump only won 38 percent of the vote in Virginia.

Who's bringing the popcorn because the Republican convention is going to be good!

2. Kasich once again barely registers on the screen and he's still in the race.

Other than winning his home state of Ohio, Kasich was at or near the bottom in all of the preceding primaries and caucuses. There has to be some plan to keep Kasich in the race up to the convention, hope that Trump doesn't have the delegate count clinched and try to pull some procedure to nominate Kasich or someone other than Trump or Cruz. The shit will hit the fan with the Trump and Cruz delegates if that happens.

There has to be some inside job going on with the Republican party. Any other candidate would have dropped out a long time ago if they had performed in the primaries and caucuses the way Kasich has. Somebody is financially backing this whole thing.
