(269,187 posts)roast as President.
We all know how the corporate media, their hired hacks, bought producers and politicians interact - with or without the dinner. Don't leave out the people with money.

(269,187 posts)So far up Trump's ass that we can see Christie
JohnnyRingo
(18,650 posts)True, it was a tough act to follow, but he's got nothing but insult comedy. The only thing he's left out is calling someone a hockey puck.
It's good to poke at someone, but he's falling short on the punchlines. In several jokes there was no punch line at all, just a comment that CNN or someone sucks.
malaise
(269,187 posts)Remember there was also a big audience outside of that room.
Some of them in the room needed to hear some truths.
kwassa
(23,340 posts)which, in a way, made them less immediately funny. He wasn't wrong, though.
JohnnyRingo
(18,650 posts)A lecture can have funny lines, but stand up has to hit every line. I refer back to Willmore's opening act.
I didn't say he didn't make some good points, I was just expecting humor. He's funnier on his own show.

(10,493 posts)Not a comfy seat anywhere. Especially for the zodiac killer.
