So what do y'all think of Cruz's Hail Mary pass of Carly Fiorina as his running mate?

Sen. Ted Cruz, “desperate to alter the course of a presidential primary fight in which Donald Trump is closing in on victory, will announce that Carly Fiorina will be his running mate if he wins the Republican nomination,” the New York Times reports.

“The move, a day after Mr. Trump scored unexpectedly wide victory margins in sweeping five East Coast states, amounts to the grandest diversionary ploy a presidential candidate can stage — or at least the grandest one available to a candidate trailing by more than 400 delegates who failed to win more than 25 percent of the vote in any state on Tuesday.”

Some of the living people who are less detested than Ted Cruz are banished serial destroyer of corporate worlds Chainsaw Al Dunlap, swindler Bernie Madoff, Home Depot corrupter Bob Nardelli, ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the guy who invented the clamshell package and your ex-spouse's divorce lawyer.

I don't really care about Fiorina's record or her personally BUT

He already had her as a surrogate.

She brings no votes to the table. Cruz could've just paid her to go out and campaign for him and "offer" her a position after he "won". Naming her as a VP choice doesn't garner him any votes because she currently backs him.

He should've chosen a person who has better name recognition and can get Californians to vote for him.

no one likes him at all. So maybe she was the only one willing! I find both repugnant. But it raises the interesting question of women. Will Trump name a woman veep? He will not want anyone likely to draw attention from himself. And who would be willing?!?!

That clip they've been showing of her singing whatever the hell it was? Don't recognize those words, but the tune is a love song I had to learn for choir decades ago. Don't remember it all, but the first line is "I hear singing and there's no one there." Only Cruz would choose a running mate who hears voices...
