A Republican school board candidate claims that the US federal government is using preschools to teach three-year-olds how to become homosexuals and “accept Islam”.

Mary Lou Bruner is standing for the state school board of education in Texas on the Republican ticket – but has attracted attention for her surreal claims and fixation on gay sex.

She claimed previously that Barack Obama secretly worked as a male prostitute in order to score drugs....

“The government curriculum plans to tell the little children their parents are ignorant, and they don’t understand because of the way the parents were taught. Or the little children will be told their parents are bigoted because they do not accept Islam and gay marriage.”

Huh? I thought Islam was against marriage equality?
