That in itself is highly sexist.

Than McGinty, anyway.

Not to mention a more reliable progressive. It really bothers me that Rendell is running her campaign.

for Hillary is anywhere equivalent to segregation and anti-LGBT rights? In fact, both blacks and LGBTs support Hillary large majorities.

Please don't even hint at "Stockholm Syndrome" ....

Those who do seem to have no idea how absolutely patronizing that is.

That was not my intention. I guess I am a rare person here, I really don't like either one of our candidates that much. But I like both of them hell of a lot more than I like the alternative. So I tend to get a little snarky. But always remember, FDR was establishment. He just had the good sense not to advertise that he was a socialist. He knew that no one called a socialist could win the presidency and I don't believe anything has changed.

While she was Rendell's appointed secretary of the state's Department of Environmental Protection,
she awarded millions of dollars of state contracts to corporate employers of her husband (a fracking lobbyist). She was investigated and censured by the state ethics commission, which warned her if she did it again, she would spend 10 years in prison. Her boss, Fast Eddie Rendell, then the governor and now a fracking lobbyist himself, appealed that ruling to the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court. The Court upheld the ruling against Katie McGinty.

the largest reason the DSCC backed a more promising newbie against him. Whatever. Getting control of the Senate is critical. I 'm not second guessing them, especially when the majority of voters did choose her, as it turns out.

there's going to be A LOT of second guessing about this choice. I don't know enough about her to have an opinion, but her resume gives me some pause - she's never won elected office before - her political career consists solely of appointed positions.
