The Repubs get their base all whipped up over building a wall on the southern border (as if that would do anything except cause environmental damage to animal migration).
Meanwhile they fight for expanding the H1-B visa program so their wealthy corporate buddies are assured a steady supply of underpaid and indentured technicians.

And it's not just the Repubs.

It's a con game.

toward people who have come here for a better life. I honestly don't know your position, so this is not aimed at you.

But I know a lot of Trumps supporters -- and more than a few Sanders' supporters -- are Nationalists, America First types who view Mexicans and other foreign workers like scabs. For some, Blacks were viewed the same way in the 50/60s. Our white wingers are messed up.
