Low information voters want someone to blame, and he's figured out, like some new dates, to say what we want to hear.
When you meet someone new, you lack details, biases, habits, histories, failures, limitations, faults, blind spots, self-delusion, etc. So, you give him the benefit of the doubt, and assume he's your ideal guy. You're a gonner.
Months later, you discover that he lives in his mother's basement, owes back taxes, can't keep a job, gambles, drinks, flirts, always borrows your car and returns it empty, and still spends holidays with his ex.
frump is intentionally blathering incoherently without real policies, plans, or details. Just like bush 2.0, (I like to call him George, The Lesser) he's being your beer-drinking buddy.
You'll find out the hard way that he has no intention of making anything he says happen.
