Saw VICE tonight.

China has moved big time into Africa -- taking over! Moving in with community resources and setting up manufacturing plants. And lots of problems. But they are there! Catch this on a rerun if you are interested in economic development in Africa.

I suppose supporters of TPP would say it is meant to prevent this kind of aggressive Chinese expansionism from spreading across the Pacific region the way it is spreading across Africa.

Vice continues to do great work.

On my cable it runs just after Bill Maher on HBO. It is usually 30 minutes and two stories and excellent investigative journalism. They cover really hard stories. Not light and fluffy. Not the entertainment news of other channels. I think Maher is one of the producers. I hope you can find it. Worthwhile.
