Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

A Democrat, who was the 45th Governor of Texas.

That state has gone to hell in a handcart ever since Shrub -- with help from Poppy Bush and others -- defeated her.

From what I read and hear, Austin is a progressive oasis in that state, and it would be fitting to not only name it after a Democrat, but also a woman.

Did you know that all teachers in Texas, myself included I suppose, are fools? This according to some so-called progressive posters here.

I submitted Doris Lopes Elementary.

She was a fabulous principal there. The best I've ever seen.

Thanks for the reminder.
