American Workers Voted For Crap Jobs W/Crap Wages Since Reagan.

Working class voters and even the poor voted for "crap wages and crap jobs" with and since Reagan. They allowed the corporations to set the memes and agenda. They went along with the anti union anti government memes and supported conservatives and GOP candidates who actually told them they were going to economically fuck them.

Many blue color and was workers as well as many professional fell for the culture and religious wars. They supported tax cuts for the rich and put in GOP candidates who actually negotiated NAFTA and the trade agreements. They supported an put in pro business and anti worker GOPPERS who told them so if they really listened.

I watched elections closely for years and GOPPERS who hated labor and government kept winning. Even the poorest of the poor voted GOP because the hated government programs or fear a brown person was getting their shitty job.

Sure Bill Clinton helped the GOP as did some conservative Democrats. But the electorate told them they could NOT win without going the right. Clinton calculated that he could not win unless he became a Republicrat on issues and compromised with the devil GOP.

We are where we are because so many voters accepted GOP racism, bigotry and nut case religiosity.

So stay anti union, anti worker, anti labor and anti federal labor legislation and it will only get worse. Vote for Trump, Cruz or any other GOP complete POS asshole. Cold tar and feathers are all that GOP candidates deserve and their dick head supporters are not better.

Uber is the model for ALL jobs eventually. Only contract or Uber jobs will be available in the fire. Even Mr. Reich is predicting that in the next 10 years 50% of the jobs will be Uber or "task rabbit" jobs. Right now some stats indicate that 40% already are.

In fact full time jobs are disappearing like some endangered species.

Devestating!

Uber and Lyft drivers in San Francisco will have to register for a business permit if they want to continue earning money from giving and sharing rides. City Treasurer Jose Cisneros has begun sending out letters to 37,018 drivers in the city letting them know of the new requirement, according to SFGate. It's unclear how Cisneros got a hold of their names and why he's suddenly decided to enforce a new rule. But SFGate notes that the city is basically telling the companies that if they refuse to recognize their drivers as employees, then they have to require them to get business permits as contractors. Also, if every driver applies for one, which costs $91 a year for those who make $100,000 or less in gross receipts, then the city will make $3.37 million a year.

the party that helps corporations, they wouldn't lose their jobs, it was a tacit agreement. Too late we noticed that both parties represented the corporations and not us. Now we are fucked.

He said that we would have a "service economy". And the is what he and the GOP has delivered along with their business and super rich allies. Most workers went along and supported his anti union anti government rhetoric.

Everyone bought in to the GOP's war on pensions and Social Security. Democrats are more interested in "Obama's stock market" than the slow trickle down of jobs.

Bush and the GOP negotiated that deal. Clinton ran against it then helped get it passed despite Democratic opposition in the House.
Add favored nation status, Telecommunications Act 1996, & welfare "deform", and we end up where we are. If I saw him personally I would really piss him off by confronting him for such 'dumbass moves". Add the Lewinsky mess which was really really stupid.

I just do not understand it. If he was trying to get along with those GOP pricks it really served him well.

Economically, the 1970s Nixon-Ford-Carter years were pretty bad with rolling recessions, virulent inflation, unemployment, and high interest rates. People voted self-interest.
