http://www.addictinginfo.org/2016/04/13/trump-uses-eric-garners-dying-words-to-mock-mitt-romney-his-supporters-roar-with-laughter/In a performance that recalled the time he mocked a physically disabled reporter, Trump cast his arch-nemesis Mitt Romney in the role of police brutality victim Eric Garner because, as Trump tells it, both were known for choking....
The moment stunned reporters on scene, but what was perhaps even more surprising was the response Trump got from his fans. Rather than find the idea of aping the words of a man who recently died just a few miles away repulsive, the crowd of Trump-heads roared with laughter. The mockery was the funniest thing they had ever seen.
Like every offensive thing Trump does, this may have been a finely-tuned tactical maneuver. For many in New York, the story of Eric Garners senseless death is still raw and infuriating, but the small but vocal Fox News crowd has always taken a different opinion on it. In the aftermath of Garners death, Fox repeatedly booked guests who pushed the idea that Garner deserved it.

Lucero was beaten, stabbed and left to die in the street.

(2,003 posts)I'm failing to find the outrage.
Trump doesn't mention Garner once and "I can't breathe!" have been many people's last words.
Is this phrase now supposed to be solely associated with Eric Garner?
There's many reasons to loath Trump. His making fun of Romney isn't one of them.

(301 posts)I also don't think he was referencing Garner. I doubt he was/is aware of the man and his story.

My absolute criteria for judging these people:
Do they have any empathy, compassion, self-awareness?
People who lack these qualities are to be avoided, and
they are a danger to those who are not so dominant.

(41,861 posts)Right Winger thinks he will bring dignity and decorum into the White House, a place of power, looked up to by many countries of the world. If he should some how get elected, even our closest and dearest neighbor, Canada may end up declaring war on us..along with the rest of the entire world. The man thinks that a Hammer is the answer to every problem in the world. He is a puffed up, egotistical, xenophobic troglodyte that has NO BUSINESS seeking the highest office in the land, despite the fact he says he has a Yuuuge Brain... if it is, its coming out of his ears, and blocking any signals that get trapped inside.
