It's the kind of thing it'd be better to have fine control of forward and backward speeds over, rather than being a simple 'play' video - concentrate on one part, and you miss other stuff.

It's an excellent strategy game where you can take control of ANY nation on the planet in 1836, when the British and French empires were going.

If you choose Prussia or Austria your task will be to gain control of all those principalities and create your German empire. You can play those small principalities too but they are very difficult. I almost did it with Bavaria once.

Glad that Europe has shifted away from hyper-nationalism over the past 65 years and largely enjoyed a measure of peace and prosperity compared to the thousand years before that - particularly the first half of the 20th century.

Or that Russia was "gone" for awhile.

Sure does remind us how geography affects politics, and imperialist ideas.
