So, what is he really doing? The GOP thinks he is the white knight, to save their party and now he has put them into falling abyss to destroy the Republican party. Is he aligning himself to another run in 2020 or is there something else up the sleeve of Ryan or the GOP!

(31,849 posts)but I hope for the gop's sake, the donors can come up with enough cash to assuage trump's ego (well, not really) ... if not, there will be 3 people running in the General Election. And I suspect, the Democrat in the race will not be the focus of his ire.

(6,262 posts)And really really wants out and up, thinking it creates more distance between him and the even bigger idiots than he is.
Repugs think he is brilliant because he knows Ayn Rand by heart and actually learned to do a real spreadsheet (gasp) in college,blazing past the technophobes in the party.
They also think he is "nice" in that his practice of manners disguises his otherwise hateful policies and separates him from the more unvarnished members of the current party leaders.
