Bill O'Reilly says racist thing, claims he can't be racist bc he has black assistant

http://mediamatters.org/video/2016/04/11/o%E2%80%99reilly-tells-trump-blacks-are-ill-educated-and-have-tattoos-their-forehead%E2%80%9D%C2%A0-%C2%A0/209869

BILL O'REILLY (HOST): How are you going to get jobs for them? Many of them are ill-educated and have tattoos on their foreheads and I hate to be generalized about it but it's true. If you look at all the educational statistics, how are you going to give jobs to people who aren't qualified for jobs?

O'REILLY: Yeah, see, I don't see that in my world. And my world is a fairly expansive one. I don't know any racists. I don't know anybody, on either black or white people, who don't like, like our staff here is integrated, and my assistant is black, she's been with me for 25 years. I just never see this.

one of the loudest Clintonites claimed she'd never vote for Bernie, because he doesn't have enough black staffers... and that the number of black staffers Hillary had made her more popular in black communities...

Now, that sounds racist to me, but what do I know?

This is a thread bashing right wingers, not Democrats.

If you prefer right wingers, go to a pro-Trump forum where you belong.

if you think being anti-racist is being pro-Trump you GREATLY misunderstand what Trump stands for.

And - I note - that your attempt to shut me up and move me along, while very common on DU these days, isn't hugely Democratic either.

If you don't understand that self-criticism is a KEY part of growth, well... there's nothing I can do to help you.

The wealthy liberals saying "I am not racist, my maid and yard boy are N*****rs" whereas the conservatives naturally said "Just them them back where they came from".

Things really haven't changed much, just the words.

like human beings:

Discussing his recent dinner with Rev. Al Sharpton at the Harlem restaurant Sylvia's, Bill O'Reilly reported that he "couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia's restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it's run by blacks, primarily black patronship." O'Reilly added: "There wasn't one person in Sylvia's who was screaming, 'M-Fer, I want more iced tea.' "
