Maybe more people voted for the Repuke?

Fraud, Diebold, Venus crossing the Sun....

Maybe the reason we are in this mess throughout the Nation is that we are in the minority when it comes to local and national politics.

Maybe more people can be easily swayed by ads touting good God fearin, family values, pro life, apple pie, white guy then can see through the bullshit and vote for the candidate who will vote to give them clean air, good paying jobs, etc. As long as commercials can sway enough stupid people to vote for the candidate who will cut their throats, there's no hope. Citizens United only made sure that Super PACs will saturate the air waves from now till November with the most generic ads touting this kind of rah rah that will manipulate the idiots.

Can we fight them? probably not. The commercials will show Obama and the Dems to be anti-American, abortionist, heathens, who will stomp kittens with their boots in the name of Allah and will show the repukes as good ol boys who love god, babies, and the American Way. And a lot of people will fall for it. These same people will then lose their jobs, get substandard healthcare, go broke paying for it, die from dirty air and poisoned drinking water and wonder what happened.

We watch the tea partiers and the elderly and the veterans voting, in large part, against their self-interests. And there's nothing we can do to make them see the light. And when it all falls down around them and the country goes to pot, who will they blame? Not themselves. Not the GOP.

They'll blame the damn immigrants. Or atheists. Or everyone who doesn't look and think like them.

I'm ready to crawl into a cave and just give up. You can't fight blindness and stupidity.
