Ted Cruz and Paul Ryan - question on election rules

If Ted Cruz is chosen at the convention and then a court finds that Ted is not a "natural born citizen", what would happen?
1) the GOP leaders could select a random alternate like Paul Ryan?
2) Ted Cruz's chosen Running mate would be the new GOP candidate?
3) the GOP could have NO candidate on the ballot in November?
And lastly,
4) could Trump would launch as an independent -- would the deadline for that be past?

States have different cut off dates for changing names on the ballot

If it is early #1

2 & 3 all depends on the rules for each state

#4 will happen if he does not walk out of the Convention with the nomination

But don't be fooled they are going to drop Cruz like an used rubber at the convention, they are just using him. No way they vote him in.

Cleaner way for them to drop him, without angering their base. But I would guess that only the Supreme Court could rule on that, interpreting the Constitution?
