so- had the annual scope because of the Crohn's not good news...Thank God for ACA

they will be removing a section of the colon.

always before the problem area was not bad enough for surgery the doctor would justify saying that the chemical therapy we have been doing for 8 years is doing its job. I have argued that no it really hasn't been doing its job but I am still alive so...

But this time the damage is pretty severe which explains why it seems the cycles have only produced about 3 good weeks each time.

Last kid is graduating university and then getting married this summer so it will be right after with almost 2 months to recover before the new school year.

At this point there is no bag involved. I hope it stays that way. That is the only thing that makes me worry. But looking forward to maybe having more than a few days a week without pain!

Without insurance, I would be dead by now. Without the ACA banning limits, I would already have been kicked off any insurance plan. I hope the ACA only gets better but right now, it is good for me.

I have had friends with Crohn's and I know what they went through. How did anyone manage before the ACA? Thank god for Barack Obama!

I also suffer from a colon problem, so I have some idea of what you have been going through. Strong thoughts are with you.

periods of severe inflammation at times. Being able to have insurance is very important.
