but Cruz is hot on his trail with his unfavorable headed North too. The only difference appears that only 4% are undecided on how much they hate Trump and 14% are undecided on how much they hate Cruz(yet)-just wait they'll get there

(56,177 posts)Woll get even higher negatives...he's sort of under the radar now because everyone is trying to stop tRump and not really paying attention to who Cruz is...he's sport of just the "alternative" right now.

(6,474 posts)I do think tRump is right about one thing...the GOP establishment is using Cruz to stop tRump from getting a majority, but no way will they let Cruz be the nominee either.
There's no fucking way the GOP bigwigs are going to allow him to walk away with the nomination either.
I have a feeling they are probably going to go with Kasich once all the fall-out from their brokered convention settles, which is bad news for us, because he actually stands the best shot at beating Hillary in the general. Not that I think he'll ultimately succeed, as the entire "Republican brand" has been pretty badly sullied at the moment.

(5,330 posts)Their biggest problem is going to be convincing all those Trump and Cruz supporters to pull the lever for their brokered stooge.
I could see a lot of folks sitting it out in November, so they could be fucked either way.

(101,318 posts)(Dem: very favorable 19%, somewhat favorable 29%, somewhat unfavorable 22%, very unfavorable 28%;
Repub: 6%, 24, 27%, 40% respectively)
So the question is: how the hell do Republicans ever get elected? In some cases it's gerrymandering, but they can't gerrymander the Senate, or governorships.
