London Muslim Mayoral Candidate Slams Labour for Failing To Address Anti-Semitism

(JTA) The Labour Party candidate in London’s mayoral race, a Muslim, said he is “embarrassed” and “sorrowful” about his party’s failure to take on anti-Semitism.

Last week, the same British newspaper reported that an activist who has described his critics as “Zio idiots” and “Zionist scum,” and has claimed that Jews supported Nazi Germany’s Nuremburg Laws, had been allowed into the party after previously being barred. Also last week Chris Bryant, a Labour member of Parliament and an opposition leader, said the issue of anti-Semitism threatens to destroy the party, while another Labour leader and Parliament member, Michael Levy, threatened to leave the party unless it works harder to address anti-Semitism in its ranks.

Sadiq Khan would get my vote

But it's sad that anti-Semitism is so much the rule in Europe, that when a single politician merely says, "I stand against Jew-hatred" it makes the news and I feel like hugging him.

There are pathetic, enraging articles from all over Europe about the victim-blaming of Jews and the apathy of "liberal" governments, as Jews are increasingly attacked by the growing Muslim population. Basically, European lawmakers are responding the way people tend to respond to battered wives: "Quit whining about nothing. Just don't make the aggressors angry. Just be patient and lie low so they don't beat you too badly. And, isn't it your fault for being Jewish?" In other words: throw the sheep to the wolves, because that's a lot easier than trying to stop the wolves.

(When I search topics like "anti-semitism in Denmark" or wherever, there's barely a peep from western media. They are hiding their sins under the rug, while Jews flee for safety. Only the Jewish media is sounding the alarm - just as they did eighty years ago. )

They don't want to piss off all their sparkling new immigrants. When even politicians can't distinguish between Jews and Israel, there are real problems. In the UK - I would not have a political home because I think Corbyn is vile.
