McDonald's taste good initially (about the GOP)

A friend of mine was saying how he had a McDonald'd burger and fries for the first time in a number of years. It tasted fine at first. the potato starch fries with HFCS and the chemical laced burgers are designed to hit certain tastes and sensations. But within an hour he felt terrible, the food did not sit well with him. I imagine it is how most feel when they eat this stuff. They just haven't figured out that off feeling is a result of the crap they are eating and it isn't good for them in the long run.
That is the GOP. They appeal to peoples senses, telling them things that sound good but in the end will harm them and their country. But many people haven't figured out that it is the very rhetoric that appeals the their emotions that is screwing their country and messing up their lives.
So Walker wins the recall because the Union workers who bought into the "Us vs the lazy, greedy workers" garbage haven't realized that they are the workers who's livelihood is being destroyed.

Expect Walker to go on offense now and use the word "mandate."

I think what is being held out as the carrot for RW voters is the idea that they can shrink government. That's why Ron Paul is so strong this year and the same carrot was used in 2010 via the Tax Enough Already campaign.

Of course it's a shell game but it works on a population that is disgusted with their government and getting poorer by the minute.

but people refuse to see that government grows more in GOP administrations that Democratic. They fail to see that cutting rich people's taxes puts the government i9n more debt, doesn't create jobs and takes away services they rely on. It feels good at first, but turns sour later.
And yes Walker will now be a worse monster.

of starving the government. And they identify with being over taxed.

They are listening to a debate where one side says cut tax (not just for the rich although that is what is delivered), and the other side says 'let's find more revenue.' I don't think they will ever get that far into the details.

You know what happens when Scott Walker takes Viagra? He gets taller, and he just did. CYA Wisconsin.

On Edit: HIS first "Pink Panther" - nobody will ever touch Peter Sellers in that role, not even Steve Martin.

Actually, nobody can touch Peter Sellers in ANY role he played.
