Via Newshounds....
Poor Scottie Nell Hughes. It's just fine and dandy for her to mock transgender folks and insult lots of other people; but when SNL mocks her, it's a whole different story - one, I might add, that's as inane and incoherent as her usual Fox News abetted partisan blather.
Last Saturday's SNL "cold open" was a mock CNN interview hosted by Kate McKinnon's Kate Bolduan who spoke with Cecily Strong's Scottie Nell Hughes who, in real life, appears on cable news as a Donald Trump surrogate. When "Bolduan" asked "Hughes" about Trump's problems with women, "Hughes" responds: As a woman, I like Donald Trump, but as a full-blown nutjob, I freaking love him." The rest of the skit features "Bolduan" growing increasingly impatient with Hughes increasingly crazy word salad.
Despite Hughes" tweet, in which she claimed to be flattered by Strong's satire, Hughes was not a happy camper. In an interview with The Blaze, she said that "tears have been shed." She whined that she was "shaken" because she was unaware that this was coming. And, naturally, she lapsed into that patented right wing victimhood: Youve never known SNL to parody any conservative in a positive way either male or female." When her children asked her why people think she is crazy, Hughes, who has no qualms about attacking anybody who doesn't drink the right wing tea, responded that "mean people and bullying doesnt stop in elementary school. It continues throughout your life. Awww.

finding themselves lampooned on a comedy show would wear it as a badge of honor as a sign that they've made it.
Thin skin is thin.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand maybe you mothershitters should probably take a good long look in the mirror and ask why that is.
Here's the thing: Tina Fey once did a parody of Sarah Palin . . . by quoting her words VERBATIM. No "positive" or "negative"; she just repeated Sarah. When you're an insufferable-enough person that the line between reality and satire is blurred, you might want to possibly rethink your life.
Was it Dom DeLuise or Eric Forman that said "Oh yeah, Colonel Mustard called; he said to get a clue."?
