APRIL 5TH, 2016 PEARSON MCKINNEY POLITICS, TOP STORIES 0 COMMENTS
There appears to have been a data upload to the internet that includes the phone records of the DC Madam from 2004-2008, the time frame in which Ted Cruz was said to have been a client of the political prostitute. There are almost 7,400 records
The Gateway Pundit released this statement to the press Tuesday afternoon:
All this comes after a story released in tabloids that accused Republican Presidential candidate Ted Cruz of being involved with a high-priced escort for high profile D.C. employees, aptly named the D.C. Madam. Ted Cruz refuted these allegations, saying the story was all lies, and that Donald trump was responsible for this rumor starting.
This information could not only ruin Ted Cruzs chance at a 2016 win, but it could completely destroy his home life, namely his long-time marriage.
Check back here for updates.

(17,469 posts)Claims that someone saw something is not proof. No one would love more to see Cruz go down in hypocritical ignominy than me, but I think it reasonable to expect hard evidence.

Did no one call this woman for any other purpose than to arrange prostitution?

(29,457 posts)I simply can't believe it! Why, Ted's a goD fearng Christian. Say it ain't so LoL
This is a fascinating story. The DC Madam was threatening to release her black book of DBSM customers, high profile, and represented by Maryland attorney Blair Montgomery. The Madam ended up hanging herself in Florida, even though it was reported she had been in good spirits ready to fight IRS, which is how the whole thing started. After she died, Montgomery lost his law license. A few days ago, Montgomery said he felt it was just fine to release the black book since the stay on that release had expired.
If Ted took a beating every now and again, that's fine by me and probably made him less uncivil and nasty than he would have been otherwise.

(111,367 posts)I think the religious nuts will blame it all on his wife for not praying harder and just snapping out of her depression, it's all her fault that he had to go outside his marriage and sin because men can't be expected to control themselves, ever.

(16,254 posts)Looking at Daddy, I'd guess his son's apple didn't fall too far from the tree. Both make me ill and, being the strong Christians that they claim to be, I'm sure he'll come up with a dynamite excuse for the whole scenario. Maybe Teddy was trying to convert the prostitutes, thus all those phone calls.
I keep thinking of his daughter's rejection to his loving gesture of a month or so ago. Smart kid!

(34,138 posts)Ted had an older brother who died when young:
<SNIP>
Wilson, floored to learn that he was mentioned in Cruzs book, said, in a bombshell of his own, that the account is not accurate: He was not the father of the baby.
We were divorced and she was living on her own, said Wilson. He said that Eleanor asked him if she could use his last name on the birth certificate. When Michael Wilson later died, he said, I hadnt even met the baby.
<SNIP>
He said the time frame was around 1963 that they were divorced. Although Cruz in his book cites 1965 for Michael Wilsons birth and death, London records obtained by McClatchy show that a Michael Wilson was born and died in 1966 and was buried in Kensal Green Cemetery in Kensington, a London neighborhood.

As for Ted, his mother's name on his birth certificate is listed as Elizabeth Darragh Wilson - she still used the name of her first husband as of Ted's birth. A picture of his birth certificate is at the link above. Other family details are at the link, too.

(16,254 posts)to me than a candidate. This GOP primary is going to be won by the last person standing and certainly not the smartest or best choice.

(71 posts)To say "Cruz refuted the allegations" sounds like he disproved them (which is the original meaning of "refute." It would have been less misleading if Gateway Pundit had written "Cruz denied the allegations."
