Romney reminds voters that this is not Bush's economy, this is Obama's economy.

Whether that is true or not, the President now owns this economy.

Yes, Bush took a balanced budget and drove us eyeball deep into debt. Not only that, his policies helped to crash the world economy.

President Obama has done his best to keep the economy from going over the cliff but it is now hanging on by its fingernails. It has never recovered. The early stimulus gave the economy a shot of oxygen but that is now gone.

Just as Harding and Coolidge set up the stock market crash of 1929 for Herbert Hoover, George W Bush has set up this crash for Barack Obama.

Mitt Romney will make sure the people understand whose economy this is and whose job it is to fix it.

The economy of those GOP that have been fighting tooth and nail to not allow anything left of Tony Scalia. They are deliberately not going to let the economy heel until they have a chance to wreck it further, kind of like an abusive husband cutting his wife's face so that no other man will have her. I see what you are seeing, but if we allow the GOP to fly their narrative (omitting the fact they are still pushing it off the cliff with all their might and gold) then we do their job for them.
