It is a depiction of "The Sower" statue that is at the top of the Nebraska Capitol and fits with the farming tradition in the state.

It is a poor depiction of the sower imho, our governor is an inherited money gazillionaire and a colossal delta bravo. The capitol building is quite cool btw.

Peace

The Architect
Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue

Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue was born in Pomfret, Connecticut on April 28, 1869. His early years were spent studying the arts and humanities at home. From his study of the classics, Goodhue learned of the great architectural styles and monuments of the ages. He later used this classical foundation in the design of the Nebraska State Capitol.

Second -- get your minds out of the gutter. It's the Golden Sower. He resides atop our state capitol. He is sowing grain seed.

Some people. Geeze.
