Our quiet capitulation to the forces of evil moving the nation off a conservative cliff simply legitimizes Republicans as equal partners.

It doesn't make Democrats look "centrist" it makes Democrats look weak.

It's seems rare to hear others acknowledge that our hands aren't exactly clean in this matter.

And our lies and culture war relating to the gun violence issue have seriously compromised our moral authority as well -- though most liberals/Democrats are in complete denial on this subject.
