Which is why every Democrat should be helping Trump get the nomination.

Trump as the GOP nominee would be an early Christmas present to Democrats.

Depending on the nominee, it will either be "Hillary's a serial killer with a traitorous email account" or "Bernie's a Stalin loving communist." And it won't get any deeper than that from them.

He ended up winning by 10. Nate Silver has been wrong every time predicting Trump's vote in the primaries.

While people may have differed with Reagan's politics, Ronnie did not come across as a hateful, vulgar, sexist, bigoted, arrogant man. People generally thought he was a nice man, politics aside.

Trump cannot win the General with those qualities and without the support of women, minorities, and gays. Who is left to vote for him? Angry white men?

Those are the people we used to call the Reagan Democrats. BTW Reagan was not portrayed as a "nice man" in the 1980 election. I can remember back that far.

and was still an Independent in those days. Trumps pales in comparison to Nixon (voted then too) and both Bushes for the fear and hate he is creating. How do you think he can cross party, and no party, lines with all the hate, bigotry and violence he is promoting?

Call me an old fool, but I think that the average American can see through Donald Trump and doesn't want what he is advocating. BTW, I say this having grown up on a lot of violence, demonstrations, assassinations, etc. If nothing else, our younger generations (Millennial) are the future and will turn against the likes of a Donald Trump. If they support Bernie, how in the world do you think they could ever vote for Trump?

I myself voted for Sanders. but if he loses the nomination, I will vote for Hillary to keep Trump out of the White House. Won't be the first time my vote was AGAINST, not FOR, a candidate. I will not sit HOME.

Every single election in my lifetime people say that "this is the election where young people will make a difference". It never ever happens and it won't happen this year. I voted for Bernie in the AZ primary but he is not going to make it. Many of his voters will sit the election out. This is a prediction, not something I want.

Come on now. Young people voted in record numbers for Obama. My daughters and their spouses (3 Millennial and one Gen X) are all Bernie supporters. I can tell you they will all vote for Hillary if she wins the nomination. My kids learned very young from me that sitting home because your "favorite" primary candidate didn't win, is not an option, even if that means voting AGAINST someone.

I can tell you they all will vote for Hillary because they do not want to see TRUMP in the White House, especially as New Yorkers.

This is the best chance the American people will ever have to take back control of their government. The Supreme Court is at stake. Control of Congress and thus control of redistricting is at stake. A more free, just, and peaceful society is at stake. We are at a crossroads, this is the biggest election in our history.

14. Actually redistricting is a state function
Fri Mar 25, 2016, 02:06 PM
Mar 2016

not a federal function...typically it is mapped out by state legislature's or a non-partisan commission (type) entity within each state. We need to get control of state legislatures to affect change in redistricting.

...pick up those states and try to prevent anyone from getting an electoral college majority, and then the mess goes to the Republican controlled House to pick a president.

He would rip Ohio from Hillary, add in a few other states here and there, and the house elects Kasich as president. not the GOP's first choice but they'll take him over Trump and Hillary 100 times out of 100

This is gonna be a three candidate race.

The goal is to stop the Democratic candidate from getting 270 EV's and then screw us by selecting a third place Rethug with a gerrymandered House.

I actually think Kentucky is more doable, and I have no faith in that state ever coming through for a Dem.
