Democratic Party head not ready to concede

State Democratic Chairman Mike Tate has just told supporters of Mayor Tom Barrett "we're not going to let the media call this election," to news some networks have given the race to Gov. Scott Barrett.

He said people are still in line waiting to vote.

"Stay around because we're going to make big news later," he told the crowd that chanted Barrett's name.

Erpenbach tells Barrett crowd race isn't over yet
State Sen. Jon Erpenbach (D-Middleton) just took to the stage at the downtown Hilton and told supporters of Mayor Tom Barrett that, despite The Associated Press and several networks calling the race for Gov. Scott Walker, that Barrett was still in it because many votes had not yet been counted.

"Let's include the city of Milwaukee," he shouted. "Let's include Racine. It's going to be a long night. Stay with us. "

The crowd then broke into a chant "Barrett! Barrett! Barrett!"
