Hard to believe he was ever so young... Eleanor Roosevelt really transcended her time by the issues she supported and the talents she recognized. And she was hardly a "one issue" First Lady, used her office to promote innumerable great political causes. I love Michelle Obama, think she's the closest we have had since, but don't know if we'll ever see another First Lady of Eleanor Roosevelt's stature.
