You have inside info that Barret has this one in the bag? If so please share with the rest of us who have lived through all the Republican dirty tricks.

But I do not dismiss all information that goes against my hopes and there is no evidence upon which to base a different conclusion.

There is information that can be spun into hope, like turnout reports. But I do not know of any reason to expect Walker not to win in the low to mid single digits.

The beauty of being a pessimist is that when I'm wrong it is usually a good thing. I would be absolutely thrilled if Walker loses. If I prayed I would pray for it.

(And I am quite sure that not one single Democratic voter in Wisconsin will read this post and decide based on it not to vote, so I have no reason to pretend to have a different prediction.)

To me, the last hope was a surprise in the morning exit polls, but the reactions of the TV people who know those numbers (but won't reveal them) make me confident that Walker had a good morning.
