I bet the city of Cleveland wishes

The republican convention was being held elsewhere. The police department has ordered new riot gear. This whole situation is terrible. Even though the Republican Party created this mess with Trump, an innocent city and innocent people are being put in a bad situation.

People are going to watch the convention on TV for the same reason George Harrison once said people watch Formula One racing; waiting for something bad to happen. It's all very depressing.

I don't feel sorry for the Republicans but I do feel sorry for those who just are tired of the political shenanigans.

And the hotels and events were all in a panic some time ago before the date was set. Nobody wanted to be in town during that weekend. I'm glad our event is in June.
