Donald Trump's snake tale.

Somewhere in the 24/7 coverage of everything the orange man says, does or farts, I was stuck as a captive viewer of his KC rally yesterday when I went out on a job. Somewhere among the crazy talk rants about arresting protesters and building walls to keep out those people, he read a story about a dying snake, who was rescued by a kind person who nurtured it back to health whereby the snake killed the benefactor with a poisoned bite.

I was waiting for someone to post on it but since I didn't see a post, here's my take on it. Since the story was completely out of context to what his rants where about, I wondered what he was trying to say. Is he saying doing a kindness for someone results in the kind person being attacked and hurt? Sometimes that happens but it's hardly a common thing.

What I think he was doing was sending a subliminal message to his sponge brained followers that social programs like health care and public education, homeless shelters, etc. will only result in the ungrateful recipients turning on those poor taxpayers who paid for it, rich people.

Anybody else have thoughts about this? I just found it a very bizarre message in an already bizarre speech.

"You knew I was a venomous snake when you saved me."

So...beware of rescuing venomous snakes (like Trump).

Interesting hypothesis. Maybe he really doesn't want to be President.

2. It's a derivation of the scorpion and frog tale imho

Where the punchline is "because it's my nature", says the scorpion to the frog he just stung.

Without context it is hard to know who he is talking about. I would guess any of the "others" that he continually blames for our problems.

4. He's done it before concerning refugees. Here's the song.

Trump does Greatest Hits now, I'm sure you've noticed. He plays the crowd like an ocarina. As soon as the energy flags he pulls one out. It was a poem originally I believe and a riff on the Frog and the Scorpion, but what I love is that none of his flock sees the irony in him doing it. Because he is biting them HARD.

refugees because they will turn on their helpers and take everything away from them. That makes so much sense.

7. It does in The Church of Trump. He's like a tent revival, whipping up the flock.

He needs worship, and Evil that is causing your strife, and rituals and a repetitive liturgy to keep the hallelujahs coming.

I am not kidding one bit.

6. I think he thought of the snake as terrorists/refrugees.

Did you notice how hey repeated two or three times how this poem was written by "a wealthy guy. Good man" as if that somehow made it important. I am glad all of you Trump supporters are wealthy. You'll need it if he gets elected.
