Trump gets hustled off stage in Dayton ?

Ms. CincyDem tells me that Trump just got hustled off-stage amid a group of secret service guys after someone in the Dayton crowd threw something at him and tried to mount the stage.

I didn't see it. True ????

If so, please let it NOT be a shoe (a la Bush). That'll just further fuel the Islam Hates US bullchit.

Personally, I'd love to learn it was a Trump ribeye, served rare.

if Trump is going to be one to unite then he needs to step up his game. He is not very effective. Making people angry is not good for Trump or the people he is exciting.

the original OP was talking about Trump getting bounced on the platform and SS hopping up starting to hustle him off.

The bottle thrower got hustled out about 10 min before the stage bounce according to a cousin who was there. I was watching on CSPAN and there was something going on off to the right of Trump about 10 min before the stage bounce incident.

Can you ask your family members if they saw Vandalia police there please? If so, the city council will be hearing from me because the event was held on airport property which is owned by the city of Dayton.

That said, Secret Service would have been in charge. The various security and police forces are usually asked to provide services within their jurisdictions only..... and make no mistake about it.... they do send to the bill to the feds.

My husband used to work in the finance office for the City of Cincinnati - They send the bill to the secret service, who in turn bills the campaign. The charges for the venue get billed direct to the campaign but security and police services near the event (traffic control etc) get billed through the secret service.

We’re hearing reports that a protester grabbed Trump’s leg.

Witnesses tell our reporters on the scene that as many as three people may have been involved in the incident.

DDN will keep posting updates. But after rewatching the video, it does seem that someone did try to pull him off the stage by his leg.

They pulled this thing together so fast his stage was basically a card table propped on top a bunch of pallets with a step ladder for him to get up. The thing was rickety as hell according to my family who were there.

She was close enough to see and didn't think it was deliberate but could have been. Either way, he played it for all it was worth.
