4. I might point out an old saying.

"First they ignore you." That was about last June.
"Then they laugh at you." That's been for a while now.
"Then they fight you." That's TONIGHT and moving forward.

Any guesses as to how this saying ends? It's not about Ted Cruz.

Cruz would be 1000x easier than Trump. Cruz is a JOKE. Trump is a nightmare.

Of course, opinions do vary and all that, and this is simply mine.

5. I disagree. I don't think Cruz' act will sell to a wider audience.

Trump, on the other hand- I just don't know, but I fear enough people might. If Cruz won, he'd be more dangerous. But my gut still says he'd be easier to beat than Trump.

Thankfully they won't win, but it is scary to think the two most dangerous assholes in the GOP are this close to the WH.

he really believes he walks on water and would have not a SHIT cared about starting WWIII. Donald is way too narcissistic to kill himself off. Cruz would be watching the 'fire and glory' while fleeing down a rat hole.

8. I would much rather face Cruz. He offers less uncertainty.

Cruz is predictable. We can counter him till the election and wait for demographics and math to take over.

Trump is unpredictable. Political outcomes involving him are counter-intuitive. Unpredictability is dangerous in politics. Politics becomes a reality TV show when he's involved.

11. There is something that bothers me about Trump. He can buy anything.

So he can do anything. I am thinking I'd prefer Cruz, even though I know, he is heartless.

Trump won't hold up. He's used to everybody kissing his ass...not being hated and mocked.

Also, he'll say so many stupid things he'll probably lose his own supporters.

13. Underestimating Trump would be a terrible mistake.

No. I would rather the GOP nominate someone that won't destroy the world if god forbid they should win. We'd probably have an easier time defeating Cruz. They are both lousy political minds, but Trump doesn't have to talk policy, he just has to insult politics. He just has to be Trump. Cruz can't fall back on Trump's gimmick, so against Hillary or Sanders he'll get creamed.

14. I'm more frightened of Cruz than I am Trump. Cruz is a religious wacko

and has more potential incite widespread religious fanaticism.

Cruz embarking on a national hate crusade to burn LGBT and/or another minority at the stake is a possibility.

I will definitely be leaving the country if either one of them is elected.

15. Cruz is infinitely worse than Trump

In fact since the beginning I've felt that Trump is the least bad guy in the Repub field. His racism and insults are bad, but I don't think his policy (to the extent he has one) is that horrible.
