On one hand, he is such a totally egotistical jerk, that he might. Of course, we Democrats would absolutely want that, as it would absolutely guarantee the Democratic nominee wins the election.

And it would become extremely expensive. He has the money, but how much of it is he willing to spend for a futile endeavor?

A bigger impact would be the civil war that will result among Republican voters. Many of these Trump supporters are simply not going to support an establishment candidate.

Who ever our candidate will be...will win for sure.

Trumps supporters are mostly low-intelligence types. They're racist, Mexican, Muslim haters.

Chances are that if Cruz gets the nom they will want to punish their party and they'll vote for whoever we run. Yes, I think they are that stupid!

Cruz basically has to turn this into victories in primary states. Winning caucuses can give a candidate a boost, but now those are over.
