Why is the WTO Forcing India and EU to Give Up Their Rights to Public Education for US Corporations?

Thats a very good question.

the simple answer is something called "Progressive Liberalisation" which is a global strategy to reverse the trends of the latter 20th century - a period of labor shortage, to reflect the global labor surplus, and decline in the need for workers, by eliminating barriers to trade such as ... public health care, public education and so on.

"the Empire Strikes Back" period for humanity, basically began in earnest in 1994 with the WTO General Agreement on Trade in Services, which has still not been finalized, the US has been trying to wrap it up for more than 20 years now. So now we have created three other FTAs, including TiSA which tries to replicate GATS in many ways.
