Too soon for video.
When someone post it, check it out.
He was dismantled point by point.
Video clips, quotes, photos.
It was sweet !!!
P.S. I am mad at myself.
I corrected my mistake.
I spelled John's first name wrong.

(2 posts)John Oliver had no intention of simply insulting Trump by referring to the ancestral spelling of his name as 'Drumpf.' For what's in a name, after all? There is no mocking of the name itself. His point, rather, was to reflect a change of perspective of the man, by changing to a less-appealing sounding version of his name. Less appealing perspective of who Trump really is as a man == less appealing form of the name that does NOT evoke the undeserved aura of success that the man has attached to himself. This is why Marco Rubio rightly and understandably referred to him as 'a con man.'

(10,159 posts)A lot of us have names that got a different spelling in the immigration process. Of all the things I have against Trump, this is maybe #25875048 on the list.

His point, rather, was to reflect a change of perspective of the man, by changing to a less-appealing sounding and less positively-associated version of his name. The "Less appealing perspective of who Trump really is as a man" == "less appealing form of the name that does NOT evoke the undeserved aura of success that the man has attached to himself." (Whew.) This is why Marco Rubio rightly and understandably referred to him as 'a con man.'

(5,198 posts)calls attention to his foreign ancestors. Who knows if this would endure or alienate the Nazi fringe...hard to call. What a bizarre and scary presidential candidate.
