continue my decades-old practice of not bothering to watch, yes. I did see part of last year's broadcast as I had a houseguest who insisted on watching it, but I have a lot of better ways to kill time.

I tried to record all this last season but failed as all the previous years.

I ahve been watching British TV, some very good TV programs, edit- The Bletchley Circle, Foyles War, George Gently, Humor with Doc Martin and I am now on a New Zealand production, Broken Wood.

I think I am ready for Downton Abby now especially since I have thr Roku back 30 seconds and closed caption, (For English

Amazon Prime is showing it free from start to ?

They should have figured out a way to put it out of its misery before they tried to squeeze one more year out of it.

You should check into Acorn TV, you can get it on Roku for about $50 per year and watch a wide assortment of British TV shows including even some of the Inspector Morse shows IIRC.

to the British programs was Murdoch Mysteries. Excellent custom colors and the many pastel colors especially of the women's clothing. The only bad part was when they let the conservative Canadian Prime Minister have a cameo appearance. The actors who are liberal really didn't like it. It is a very popular program in Canada and it is available also on Netflix as well as Acorn

Yes, I now have Roku and started buy cheaper TV and strictly using Roku.

what the hell's going on. Chris Rock doesn't seem to be boycotting them.

Would love to see more diversity in studio films, although there is wondrous and nearly unlimited diversity in many independent films. Those efforts often run at film festivals, and there are many of these festivals all over the place.

Hope folks will pick a local festival or two and dive in.

I will be waiting to hear the winners...(Edit) at a later time on the news.

I'm not much on the movies or music anymore, age does it to a person but I do see information about some of the music and movie stars.

I watched a 60 minutes segment on Taylor Swift and then some about Jennifer Lawrence tonight on CNN. I find them both to be a step above of all the nonsense of the Paris Hilton and that Lohan person.

They are buth very talented young women who have handled their success well.

I'm still pissed that Creed and Straight Outta Compton didn't get nominated for Best Picture though.
