Snyder aide warned of Flint public relations crisis

A year before he was named Gov. Rick Snyders new communications director, Ari Adler warned of a public relations crisis with Flint water, saying in an e-mail it was waiting to explode nationally.
Adler, who was appointed to his new position Thursday, sent the e-mail on Jan. 23, 2015, to then communications director Jarrod Agen now Snyders chief of staff with a Free Press article titled Who wants to drink Flints water?
The article focused on Flints poor water quality and the impacts it was having on residents, businesses and animals and showed a picture of some of the discolored water that had been flowing from peoples faucets.
