1. Yep. Hard not to come to that conclusion. It's the perfect job for Christie too.

The Veep slot is typically an attack dog vs the other side. That's probably the most appropriate job Chris Christie will have in his whole life. He was born to be a nasty attack dog.

I think moderate Republicans don't like Trump at all. Christie on the ticket could help them rationalize a vote for Trump in the GE.

On the otherhand they may be unable to stomach Trump no matter who is running mate is.

And Christie definitely wouldn't help win New Jersey at all.

Two NE candidates in a region where it is plausible that all NE states could go for the Democratic nominee? Trump would be smarter to go with someone like Kasich or even Rubio (debate-damaged goods and all) who could tip the balance in a swing state, which might make the difference if the election was a close one. At this point, Christie is unpopular in his home state, has unsettled legal issues with Bridgegate, and having two boorish loudmouths together on the ticket could backfire. Christie's motivation in jumping on the Trump campaign bandwagon at this point could very well be an excuse to get out of New Jersey to the extent possible, where he would be expected to to actually govern (old hat for someone who was once a presumptive rising star), and 2) contend with legal issues (isn't that what lawyers are paid for?).

10. Nah, not gonna happen. Christie wants to be AG, not VP.

And we thought Alberto Gonzales was bad..........Christie will show him how it's done.

Then, from AG onto the Supreme Court for life.

And what better way for Christie to ensure he is NEVER indicted for Bridgegate?
