Also I think that his followers of all nations tend to focus on antipathy toward men who hang out with men, the sort of guy who has two close friends named John and calls one of them beloved....

Sorry OP, but 'Christians' of all shades and tongues practice anti gay bigotry. Learn to accept the nature of your faith group.
