I think we will be running against a Trump-LePage ticket.

It seems that the GOP voters are determined to nominate Donald Trump. They love him because he hates all the right people in their minds.

And with LePage is a total bully who is also filled with hatred. That is what makes a leader in Donald Trump's eyes. And now he has kissed Trump's ring.

Donald Trump is about as smart as Dan Quayle. (Dumber than George W. Bush, admittedly smarter than Sarah Palin).

Paul LePage is essentially a latter day Spiro Agnew.

It is sad that our country could nominate, and possibly elect, a ticket like that.

Agnew was known for his scathing criticisms of political opponents, especially journalists and anti-war activists. Agnew would attack his adversaries with relish, hurling unusual, often alliterative epithets, some of which were coined by White House speechwriters William Safire and Pat Buchanan, including "pusillanimous pussyfooters," "nattering nabobs of negativism" (written by Safire) and "hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history."[22] In a speech denouncing the Moratorium to End the War in Vietnam, he characterized the war's opponents as "an effete corps of impudent snobs who characterize themselves as intellectuals."[23]

Then again, if not for the bridge scandal I think the GOP voters might have picked him as their nominee.

He is what they love: a bully. But unlike Trump, he also had some experience.

Bill Maher had a great quote about Chris Christie: "The Republicans love him because he's a bully. If he's not a bully then who is he? He's Lamar Alexander."

He may have a hard time finding anyone not totally cuckoo to sign on.

But then, I still don't think he will quote make it to the RNC nominee. Vote fraud outside of caucus states will be in high gear to derail him and be well-oiled for the general.
