Don't attack the media. Oh its ok to call the media liberal, just don't point out specific things the media fucks up or the people that do the fucking up.

If you want to be a success in the media be wrong in the approved inside the beltway manner.

Should be federally required to be revenue-neutral. Sure, sell ads and pay staffs whatever the market will bear, but ALL profit should be donated to State or public Journalism Programs (or...whatever).

You wanna do news then you can consider it a Public Service, or you can announce at the beginning and end of every revenue-generaring ad break that what your doing is ENTERTAINMENT, and exists to MAKE MONEY rather than to Educate and Inform.

Scholars don't appear more than once on CNN if they make points that matter.
CNN has an amazing system in place where they so successfully weed out smart people. Only the dumb get through there.
CNN is really something. I watch FOX sometimes for a good laugh -and they do have me in stitches-, and CNN is not even funny.

A little while ago they interviewed a couple of South Carolina officials about the Democratic primary - one for Hillary and one for Bernie. It was a talking points bonanza. Blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada. We've heard it all before. It's refreshing to hear something other than talking points.
