Couldn't a more polite person have found a better word to describe the Pope than "disgraceful"?

But Donald has never been polite during this entire campaign.

<snip>
“For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I'm proud to be a Christian and as president, I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened, unlike what is happening now with our current president," he said.

Isn't that kind of the point of being a religious leader?

Don't they quiz kids on catechism anymore?

You can attend whatever Presbyterian church you want, but in order to become a member, you have to go through an interview with the Session of the congregation where, yeah, the applicant's faith is questioned.

I never understood Trump's point is calling out Hillary for using the restroom.
What did Trump propose she do - or not do?

chiming in about a political candidate in the heat of the voting. That's messing with our elections. Who asked him for his opinion?

(By the way, this Pope is the best they've had during my lifetime. He's done and said many good things since he became the Pope.)

He didn't mentions names and was stating his opinion _ after being asked - about what all of the GOP are doing by advocating building border walls and making anti-immigrant rants... many here have expressed the very same thing.

The donald is so self absorbed that he took it to be all about him, as usual and decided to make a big stink about it.

Too much ado about something that should have been perceived in quite a different light.

I'm sure the pope doesn't think much of any Protestant's faith. I don't think much of any religious leader sticking his nose into my country's secular politics.

and can stand to watch a few minutes of the donald you will likely notice that he has a very limited vocabulary so the choice of that word is one of five derogatory adjectives that are readily available from under that thing on his head.

"PC" - he doesn't believe in being polite. Must have been before his time. He is walking that back now, but - politely - he can go suck eggs.
