Cornel West to Jeb: 'You stay strong'

Cornel West, an activist and surrogate for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, bumped into Jeb Bush in South Carolina on Friday on his way to breakfast.

"We just ran into brother Jeb, and it was good to see him," West told a Mashable reporter, indicating he gave the GOP presidential candidate and former Florida governor a hug.

"I said, 'You stay strong.' God bless he and his family," West recalled.
