a town hall hosted by a couple of trump fans....how cute
it's ALL about ratings...
The 2016 election cycle, featuring competitive races on both sides and a former reality star boosting debate ratings to historic heights, has been a boon for cable news networks. With no debates scheduled before Saturdays Republican primary in South Carolina and Democratic primary in Nevada, CNN and MSNBC capitalized on the brief lull by organizing dueling town halls on Wednesday and Thursday night.
Both networks are publicizing the competing events with countdown clocks, an on-screen graphic that's been ubiquitous on CNN this election cycle and appearing more frequently of late on MSNBC.
On Saturday, CNN announced that Anderson Cooper would moderate two primetime Republican town halls in South Carolina featuring all six remaining candidates. Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas), Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.) and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson are scheduled for Wednesday, with Trump, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Ohio Gov. John Kasich set to appear Thursday

Joe is a MODERATE conservative. I believe the only principled and responsible course for people like him is to support one of the Democratic candidates, to vote for someone worthy who is not yet on the GOP ballot, or to abstain from voting.

(58,785 posts)you're 100% right. He's sold out whatever principles he once had.
I'm wondering what's going on with this. Is Joe really trying to get The Donald elected because the Kochs et ilk think they can control him? Could the Kochs have decided Trump will work fine as a tool in their plot to install a libertarian shell government?
Is Joe trying to push The Donald now as part of a strategy to get a different person the nomination?
(And what on earth is Zbigniew thinking of Mika? She admitted once to the contempt he felt for the Morning Joe product back then; I forget the term, but she apparently was hurt and said she was thinking of having it made into a bumper sticker.)

Trump's political naiveté is doing what the timid Dems have been afraid to do.
Bravo!
